To participate in the Community Integrated Living Arrangement (CILA) Program, individuals must meet specific eligibility criteria. Participants must fulfill the following guidelines to be considered for the program:
- Must be at least 18 years of age.
- Must have a diagnosis of intellectual/developmental disability.
- Must agree to participate in a self-medication management program, with or without assistance.
- Must be eligible for SSI/SSA benefits.
- Must be approved for placement and funding by Illinois Department of Human Services (IDHS).
- Must provide informed consent to participate in the CILA Program.
- Must agree to actively participate in the development and implementation of their Personal Centered Plan (PCP).
- Must provide all required assessments.
- Must demonstrate a need for services and a supervised living arrangement.
All intakes are subject to review by the Intake Committee prior to placement.
Serenity Springs has a no-decline policy, ensuring services are available to all prospective program participants, regardless of their level of disability, diagnosis, age, limitations, or ethnic background, as long as they meet the IDHS eligibility guidelines.
